Book Cliff Elementary presented their annual Academic Fair on April 17. The students displayed projects to show what they have learned throughout the year.
The Kindergarten class learned about life cycles and Antarctica. They displayed penguins and little plants.
The first grade focused on symmetrical designs and Australia. The second grade learned about Africa this year. They presented an African song along with rain sticks, lions, and animal reports. The third graders were authors and illustrators of their own books and they also displayed landforms.
Fourth grade students studied Utah counties and rock cycles. They also created butterfly art. The fifth grade displayed their state reports, poetry, and art using their names. The sixth grade presented power point presentations on ancient cultures along with castles, clay tablets and mummies.
The parents and students seemed to enjoy the Academic Fair as students showed off their many projects.
