The sheriff and the gunfighters all joined in the fun.

Sharp Shooters gathered to Cedar Mountain on April 26-27, for the second annual Cowboy Shoot. The competition went on for two days holding six different stages of shooting each day. There were four different categories that consisted of traditional, modern, frontier and seniors 60 and over. Each man and woman chose from these categories. The shooters were judged on time and shots missed. For each missed shot five seconds was added on to their competitive time. The 12 different stages were set on every day occurrences, that one might face in the western era. In the man’s category they each had to shoot one shotgun, two pistols and one rifle, also in the women’s category this was done. In the end the lowest time won the different category and they were rewarded with prizes. Also at the competition were drawings with prizes.
