Most people know that the libraries in Emery County have free public internet access, but did you know that the Emery County Library is online? Well it is! You can find our homepage at www.emerycounty.com/library. Here you will find information about all eight libraries in the county, plus you can browse through the entire online card catalog.
The card catalog shows not only the holdings of all eight libraries, but the status of the book you are looking for. Now you can see from home which library has a particular book, and whether or not it is available.
Have you ever forgotten when your books are due? Would you like to see from home what books are checked out under your card? All you have to do is go to the Emery County Library Homepage, click on “view your account status,” enter your library card number, and a pin number, and there you will see, what is checked out, when it is due, and what fines you have if any.
Need a pin number? Just contact your local librarian and she’ll be glad to give you one.
Need something to do with that preschooler of yours, then bring them to our “Preschool Storytime,” which is held every Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Castle Dale Library.
If you’re looking for something a little different to read, you might want to try this new addition to our library “Much Ado About Murder.” It is an all-new, Shakespeare-inspired, book of short stories by writers like: Anne Perry, Jeffery Deaver, Margaret Frazer, Edward D. Hoch and others. If you’ve ever wondered “who hath done it?” or wondered what might happen to all those fascinating characters after the lights go down, then you’ll enjoy reading this.
The Emery County Library is pleased to announce the donation of the book called: “Fibromyalgia Cookbook : a daily guide to becoming healthy again”. The donation was made by Mary Moeller, LPN, the author. This book is now available at the Castle Dale Library and will soon be available at all other locations.
