Camp Dale DUP


Camp Dale DUP will host its montly meeting on April 14 at 1 p.m. at the Castle Dale Senior Citizen’s Center.

Buckhorn District Scouters


April 10 will be youth protection training at 7 p.m., all leaders need this, Round Table at 7:30 p.m., Webelos leader outdoor training, both will be held in the Castle Dale Stake Center.

Emery High RodeoTeam

Emery County Community Theater

Free Sleep Apnea Clinic


If you snore, feel tired, fatigued or not quite up to par, sleep apnea may be your problem. Emery County Archives Wants Stories


The Emery County Archives is looking for your stories of service in the CCCs. To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the CCCs, the archives would like to assemble the stories of those either from this area who served or those who came here from other parts of the country. Utah State Parks Board Meets in Vernal

Ten Star All Star Basketball Camp

Health Career Exploration Camp


The Utah AHEC program at Southern Utah University is looking for high school students interested in pursuing a health care career. CEU Scholarship Deadline


College of Eastern Utah Alumni Association announces that there are two tuition scholarships available through the Alumni Association for the 2003-04 school year. These scholarships are made possible through proceeds from the CEU Alumni Wildman Golf Tournament held last fall. Romeo and Juliet in Price


The Utah Shakespearean Festival’s “Shakespeare-in-the-Schools” program will present its touring production of Romeo and Juliet April 15 at the Price Civic Auditoruim. The performance is sponsored by the Price City Culture Connection and the Carbon School District and is free to the public.

Days of ’47 Pageant


The Emery Company and County Camps of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers are looking for young women that are eligible to compete in the Days of ’47 Queen Pageant. Unemployment Insurance Extension


On Jan. 8 President Bush signed a bill extending Unemployment Insurance benefits through May 31. This new extension does not grant additional weeks for individuals who have exhausted their Temporary Extended Unemployment Compensation eligibility.
