White Christmas for County Kids

The snow totals in the valley were approximately six inches and up.

Emery County awoke to a white world on Christmas morning. Snow continued throughout the day making travel less than fun, but the children of the county were delighted with the white stuff. It was the heaviest snowfall in recent memory as the county still sits on a six year drought.
Green River
STEEL CREEK PARK, snow is at 87 percent of average; water is at 82 percent of average. HEWINTA, snow is at 103 percent of average; water is at 84 percent of average. TROUT CREEK, snow is at 132 percent of average; water is at 117 percent of average. HOLE-IN-ROCK, snow is at 119 percent of average; water is at 103 percent of average. HICKERSON PARK, snow is at 93 percent of average; water is at 110 percent of average. KING’S CABIN, snow is at 138 percent of average; water is at 119 percent of average. Basin wide snow is at 111 percent of average; water is at 101 percent of average.

SEELEY CREEK, snow is at 100 percent of average; water is at 100 percent of average. BUCK FLAT, snow is at 116 percent of average; water is at 100 percent of average.
