Huntington Elementary
Huntington Elementary held its annual geography bee recently. Competitors were: Chance Hansen, Lethi Guymon, Lauren Potter, Polson DeMott, Spencer Fehlberg, Bailey Birch, Dominic Duran, Keisha Holmes and Jake Clement.
Students answered questions about the various trail systems across the United States.
Students were given questions and they would write their answers on their white boards. Competition was fierce with Clement and Duran, neck and neck for many questions, until Duran burst into the lead with a correct answer concerning the Great Lakes. Duran will now take another geography test administered by Principal Tom Baltzer and he could move into state competition.
