A rider dressed for the uncertain day pulls into checkpoint number five.

On March 27, the SouthEastern Utah Off Highway Vehicle Club hosted its fifth annual Swell Cure for Cabin Fever poker ride. Though the day was blustery, and the weather couldn’t decide if it should snow or shine, for the most part, the day was a success.
Riders came from Emery, Carbon, Salt Lake and Utah counties to name a few. Several riders drove in from Grand Junction to spend the day in the Swell.
Many people brought the entire family to enjoy the day together, many were also accompanied by the family pet. Everyone seemed to enjoy the ride, in spite of the fickle spring weather.
The San Rafael Swell did not disappoint the 258 riders, as the trail was excellent. Several riders were able to view the desert big horn sheep and many also saw antelope.
