A scene from last year’s competition at the 3D shoot. Club promises same great action at this year’s event.

The Buckhorn Archers recently concluded their winter shooting at the Emery County Recreation building. They are now preparing for their third annual 3D shoot at Bear Creek Campground on April 9.
They will shoot 21 targets twice. The first round will be 21 marked, then the second round will be 21 unmarked targets. If there are enough women shooters they will have a class for them. The shoot will begin at 11 a.m. and warmups begin at 9 a.m. The Buckhorn Archers will be giving away a compound bow. Randy O’Neil said, “This is a great, fun course that is also wheel chair accessible. It’s a great place to get out for the day and enjoy the scenery of Castle Country.”
For more information on the bow shoot contact O’Neil at 384-3393 or Blake Butler at 748-5343 or Carl Sitterud at 653-2417.
Bear Creek Campground is located in Huntington Canyon above the Huntington Power Plant on SR-31.
