Headed and organized by Business Sterling Scholar Alexis Swasey, the Extravaganza was a successful event for the Emery County community. The donated trees and wreaths were auctioned off and over $2,000 was raised on behalf of the Children’s Justice Center (CJC). The FBLA and Sterling Scholars donated the locally purchased items to Shelley Wright (Director), Kristy Fredricksen (Office Manager), and Kizzy Ellington (CJC Coordinator) of the CJC.
Those purchasing trees and wreaths at the auction are much appreciated. These include: Todd Hinkins, Stacie Decker, Darcy Powell, Shari Tuttle, Gary Arrington, Darlene Magnuson, Stacie McElprang, Sandra Swasey, Brian Bernard (Nielson Construction), Shala Pitchforth, Neal Peacock, Diane Carter, Julie Wilson (BK’s), Joe Begay, Jodi Magnuson, and Darlene Stevens.
Also, a special tribute to all those volunteers who made it possible. We appreciate you for your hard work and dedication; it was truly appreciated. A special mention to those who displayed personal Christmas trees, donated time and equipment, set up booths, and provided entertainment. A appreciation to the members of the community who supported the fundraiser for the children at the Justice Center.
