Tyrell Clement, of Elmo, is one of the buglers for Elmo and Cleveland cemeteries.

American Legion Post #73 visited four cemeteries on Memorial Day and performed ceremonies. The veterans visited Elmo, Cleveland, Lawrence and Huntington cemeteries. The Post’s commander is Ray Quinn and the Chaplain is Owen Olsen.
Gun bearers were Fon Leamaster and Max Larsen. Flag bearers were Hal Nielsen and Mar Grange. Members of the firing squad were Lamond Gardner, James Jensen, Bert Leamaster, James Ward, Ira Hatch, Lanae Jones and Larry Randall.
As a part of the ceremony at each cemetery, Blake Jones recited the Ragged Old Flag, and Flanders Field was recited by Carolyn Randall in Elmo, Donna Quinn in Cleveland, and Jenny Olson in Lawrence and Huntington.
Buglers in Elmo and Cleveland were Jake Clement and Tyrell Clement. In Lawrence and Huntington, the buglers were Spencer Fehlberg and Reed Fehlberg. Local Boy Scouts also took part in each ceremony. A patriotic program was presented by Huntington youth at the Huntington Cemetery.
