Dean and LaRita Nelson of Ferron announce the marriage of their son, Matthew to Megan Hock, daughter of Michael and Eileen Hock of San Ramon, Calif. The couple will be married on June 30 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They will be honored at a reception on July 1 from 7-9 p.m. at the Blue Hills Ward LDS meeting house located at 35 West 200 North in Ferron.
Matthew is the grandson of Philip Nelson and the late Doris Nelson of Ferron and Robert and LaRue Larsen of Richfield.
Matthew served a mission in the Portugal Lisbon South Mission and is a student at UVSC. Megan is a student at BYU. They will live in the Provo area this fall where they will continue their studies.

Mr. Kurt Oveson and Raylene and David Avery, along with Mr. and Mrs. Aaron E. Sorensen, announce the marriage of their children, Michael R. Oveson and Jessica Mae Sorensen, on June 30. The wedding will be at 6 p.m. at the Sorensen residence, 38559 Coburn Road, Paonia, Colo. Dancing will follow from 8 p.m.-midnight.
An open house will be held on July 1 at 6 p.m. at Little Bear Campground in Huntington Canyon. Dancing will follow from 8 p.m.-midnight.
