On July 31-Aug.5, Tiffany Larsen, daughter of Don and Suzanne Larsen of Ferron, attended Utah Business Week at Utah State University. The week was filled with business workshops taught by many successful business owners and also a competition to sell a product of their own. The students were all divided into companies and firms and participated in a business simulation where they had to produce and market a product. they had to control all of the money including what went into advertising, how much they would produce at what cost, and how dividends were to be paid. They also had to produce and record a radio ad and design a logo that was judged by art designers and business owners.
Tiffany and her firm of two other members made business decisions that won them the Best Overall Award for having the most successful business and also the Outstanding Team Competition Award, where they were the top competing team.
