Fred Crogan
Fred Crogan will celebrate his 90th birthday Sept. 28. He is a life long resident of Carbon County. He married Carol (Kelly) Larsen on May 29, 1947. Fred served in the Army Airforce during World War II and retired from US Steel in 1981. He has been a member of the Price Elks Lodge for 51 years and is currently serving as treasurer. He has two children, Steven of Taylorsville, and Carrie (Vernon) White of Price. He has six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends are welcome to an open house on Sept. 30 from 2-4 p.m. at the home of Carrie and Vernon White, 1150 North 200 East, Price. In case of bad weather, open house will be held in the Price Elks Lodge dining room, 23 East 100 North, Price. Enter through east door.

Ruby Anderson will turn 80 on Sept. 29. Her family consists of Marie, Bill, Gelene, Moose, Glade, Patti, Ron, Jody, Mason, Madison, Sage, Ellie, Austin, Tiara, Cianna, Jace, Kody, Shalene, Willie, Donnie, Rob, Jami, Jeff, Tanya, Mark, Derek, Denise, Chris, Colton, Carleigh, Klay, Jurell, and Angelia.
