PRESTON, IDAHO-Tedd Johnson, 88, passed away Sat. Oct. 14, 2006 at the Franklin County Nursing Home. He was born May 10, 1918 in Monroe, Utah to Andrew James and Ezetta Delight Julander Johnson. Tedd married Betty Lou Powell on Sept. 18, 1944 in the Salt Lake City Temple.
Tedd Loved spending time with his beloved wife, Betty. They enjoyed traveling together and especially loved trips to Yellowstone. They loved singing together and taking a relaxing ride. He also enjoyed history, doing crossword puzzles and working on old cars. He was especially proud of his six sons, their wives, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Betty Lou Johnson of Preston; his sons, Randy (Betsy) Johnson, Castle Dale, Utah, Michael (Mary) Johnson, Meridian, Idaho, Garth (Peggy) Johnson, Castle Dale, Utah, Jeff (Jennifer) Johnson, Orem, Utah, and Tylor (Claudia) Johnson, Preston, Idaho; 26 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law Penny Dalley. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, a sister, his son Corey, one grandson, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wed. Oct. 18, 2006 at 12 noon in the Preston First Ward chapel, 213 South 200 East in Preston with Bishop Richard Westberg conducting. Friends called from 10-11:30 a.m. at the church on Wednesday. Interment was in the Preston Cemetery.

Mary Blanc


PRICE- Loving mother, grandmother and friend, Mary Louise Blanc, age 74, passed away Oct. 20, 2006 in Price.
She was born June 29, 1932 in Castle Dale to William W. and Zelpha Irene Peterson Branson.
Married Albert Blanc in 1955 in Price, Utah. They later divorced.
Mary was a member of the Notre Dame de Loures Catholic Church in Price. She had a great love for animals, foster children and Indian arts and crafts. Her greatest joy was visiting with family and friends and doing word search books. She was a security guard for the power plant for many years. Mary will be dearly missed by her family and a community of friends.
Survived by her three sons, Jamie (Suzy) Blanc, Salt Lake City; Larry (Meghan) Blanc, Price; Mike (Lisa) Blanc, West Jordan; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service, Tues., Oct. 24, 11 a.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s one hour prior to service. Committal service, Castle Dale City Cemetery.

Jordan Baker


Jordan Derek Baker, age 25, passed away Oct. 17, 2006 in Clawson. He was born March 9, 1981 in Logan, Utah to Kaye Auger Komar and fathers Carl Baker and Dave Marshall. Jordan married Jessica Marie on Sept. 14, 2002 in Castle Dale.
Jordan loved golfing and fishing. He also cherished and loved the time he spent hanging out with his family.
Jordan is survived by his wife and son, Jessica and Brayden Baker of Ferron; his sisters Sarah Marshall of Ferron, Nick and Holli Tuttle of Castle Dale, Frankie Komar and Trevor Komar.
Funeral services were held Sat. Oct. 21, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the old Ferron LDS chapel. A viewing was held Fri. Oct. 20, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial was in the Ferron Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
