Vacancy on regional wildlife council

By By

The Southeast Regional Wildlife Advisory Council hopes to fill an environmental representative position, which opened with the resignation of David Cunningham, Director of the Southeastern Utah District Health Department, incident to his new responsibilities over biohazard management.
The RAC is a regional council, which makes decisions about wildlife issues in Southeastern Utah. Comprised of a variety of special interests, RAC members represent sportsmen, livestock, business, elected officials, the general public, the environment and federal land agencies.
Decisions from the RAC are carried forward to the Utah Wildlife Board, which has legislative authority for making all wildlife rules and regulations in Utah. Anyone who may be interested in serving on the southeastern Utah RAC as an environmental representative, please contact Brent Stettler at: 435-636-0266 or brentstettler@utah.gov.
