Catch Ricochet at the Emery County Fair

The Emery County Fair committee is excited to announce the band for the 2007 free fair concert. The concert will be held on Aug. 4 at the new starting time of 7:30 p.m.
The Miss Emery contestants will open the concert followed by the all professional show. Back by popular demand with be Charley Jenkins with his band, Haywire. The headliner band is Ricochet.
Ricochet consists of five singing musicians whose distinctive harmonies have earned them recognition as one of the most popular vocal groups in country music. They have been rolling under a full head of steam since being named Best New Vocal Group by both the Academy of Country Music and Billboard Magazine.
Recently they have been nominated for the Vocal Group of the the Year by both the ACM and CMA. Their number one hit single, Daddy’s Money, is one of the most recognized songs in country music history.
Earning the respect of their peers as one of the hardest working groups in the business, Ricochet continues to play hundreds of live shows each year. Their rich, textured version of our National Anthem, sung in five part harmony, has been applauded by audiences at sporting events throughout America including NASCAR races, rodeos, NFL games, and major league baseball games. They are the first country artists to ever chart the National Anthem on Billboards Top 40. They have performed on the NBC Tonight Show, The Grand Ole Opry, and the nationally televised awards shows presented by the ACM and CMA. They have headlined two USO tours, entertaining armed forces personnel in Japan, Korea, Spain, Italy, Germany, Macedonia, Turkey and Portugal. They have most recently performed at the largest country concert event in Japan called the Country Gold Festival.
Ricochet singles that have climbed the country charts include: Daddy’s Money, What Do I Know, Love is Stronger Than Pride, Ease My Troubled Mind, He Left a Lot To Be Desired, Connected at The Heart, Blink of an Eye, Seven Bridges Road, Do I Love You Enough, and She’s Gone.
Ricochet fans made them the top selling artists two years running at Fan Fair and their seasonal release of the single Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow continues to be one of the most requested during the holiday season. With five industry awards and countless nominations, Ricochet continues to be one of the most famous requested live shows to see.
The Emery County Fair concert 2006 had the largest crowd ever gathered in Emery County and Fair Concert 2007 promises to be just as big and even more exciting.
