The 2007 Emery County Relay for Life will be held June 29 and 30 beginning Friday night at 6 p.m. and ending Saturday morning with breakfast at 9 a.m.
The theme this year is A Circus with a Purpose. It’s a big year for the Emery County Relay with 22 teams participating and more than 66 business and individual sponsors.
Some of the activities that will be going on that night are:
Opening ceremony at 6 p.m. followed by the survivor walk.
Dinner: an excellent meal for only $5 per plate. Survivors eat for free.
Memory wall: if you have lost anyone to cancer we would welcome the opportunity for you to honor them on our memory wall.

Miss Relay Contest: male contestants are provided by participating teams. The contestants have between 6:30 and 10 p.m. to parade in their finest dresses and accessories and gather votes in the form of money and donations.
Don’t miss the talent portion. The winner is crowned at 10:30 p.m. after their efforts and money are tallied.

Other activities/fundraisers:various activities and items for sale by the teams the night of the relay: Sno Cones, tacos, Texas hold-em, baked goods, face painting and temporary tatoos, Bingo, root beer floats, chili and cornbread, sloppy-joes, and much more.
