Conner Fausett, age 6, takes careful aim.

The 34 shooters shot for fun and money prizes. A drawing was also held for prizes, where everyone participating is entered to win.
The farthest target was 69 yards with the closest 18-20 yards. The 3D targets consist of many different kinds of animals. Each animal has a scoring ring with the smallest circle scoring a 12, the next circle a 10 and the next circle an 8. Five points are scored with a hit anywhere on the body.
The annual 3D shoot is sponsored by the Buckhorn Archers. They also shoot bows through the winter months in the recreation building in Castle Dale. The club is always looking for new members. Contact Randy O’Neil at 384-3393 if you’d like to know more about the club.
