Toni Killpack
FERRON-Toni Ward Killpack, age 55, returned to her beloved Father in Heaven on Sun. June 17, 2007 where she was reunited with her son.
Mom was born Nov. 24, 1951 in Provo, Utah to James and Kathryn Ward. She married her high school sweetheart, Parke Lee Killpack on June 19, 1971 in Cleveland, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on May 24, 1980.
Mom was raised in Cleveland, Utah. She was an animal lover. There was no animal that was turned away if it needed help.
After raising her five children, mom went back to school and received her cosmetology license in 1995. She loved music and teaching children to sing. She served in many musical callings in the church. She had a beautiful singing voice.
Mom always enjoyed telling stories of when she was growing up, whether the stories were true or not, who knows? She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing sports, camping and making up games to play with her kids and grandkids. She is the current champion of sock volleyball. Mom liked to be the comic relief of any situation, no matter if it was a stranger or family, she always made someone laugh. However, if she did not care for someone, they would definitely know it.
Mom, our memories of you will be cherished everyday and your stories will live on through your kids and your grandkids.
Mom is survived by her husband and best friend, Parke; children, Trinidi (Jerry) Price, Kandi (Jerry) Hess, Destri Killpack, and Brawny (Marissa) Killpack; mother, Kathryn Ward; mother-in-law, Maude Killpack; four sisters, Trudi (Boyd) Griffin, Kathy Pratt, Sandee Ward, and Tracee Goff; one brother, Kohn Ward, and grandchildren, Jeridi, Taijah and Taleigh Price; Bryton, Baylee and Barrick Hess; Shaidyn, Kavery and Jerzie Killpack and Bradin.
Mom was preceded in death by her son, Brody; father, James Ward; father-in-law, Dwight Killpack and brother, Jimmy Ward.
Funeral services were held Fri., June 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Bluehills Ward Chapel in Ferron, 35 West 200 North. Visitation was held Thurs., June 21, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, 710 North Center Street and one hour prior to the services on Friday in the Bluehills Ward Chapel. Interment was held in the Ferron City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
Sharon (Sherry) McDonald
PRICE-Our special loving mom, nan, and nan great, Sharon (Sherry) Lynne Rowse McDonald, was reunited with her eternal sweetheart on June 23, 2007 at the home of her daughter in New Castle, Colo. at the age of 71.
She was born to Jack R. and Doris Inger Wangsgard Rowse in Ogden, Utah on June 2, 1936 and later raised in Rock Springs, Wyo.
Married Gary Valee McDonald Sept. 10, 1960, marriage later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on Aug. 16, 1961. Mom and dad were blessed with four children, and on Feb. 13, 1995 Dad passed away.
Mom loved scouting and was a dedicated Webelos leader for many years. She loved all the boys and gave her heart to them. They were district trainers and loved working together in the scouting program which was a huge and very important part of their lives. She was awarded her Silver Beaver among many other awards.
She was a longtime resident of Price before moving to Colorado to live with her daughter. While residing in Price she worked for the Sun Advocate for many years were she was over the carriers. She loved this job, especially working with the kids.
Mom was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully served in all her callings.
Survived by her family; Valerie (Mikel) Johnson and family, Josh (Jayme) McDonald and children Jayden and Joshua; Jake (April) Johnson and children Harold, Elizabeth, and Jaylynn; Nettie (Seann) Saindon and children Kameron and Morgan, all of Price; grandson, Trevor Byrge of Helper; Lori (Mark) Winn and son, Ashley; granddaughter, Kayleanna, all of New Castle, Colo.; Kyle (Annette) McDonald and family, Jenny McDonald, Brian Hott, Briananna (Kyle) Danielson and children, Caidence, Sabrina, and Jack; all of Hotchkiss, Colo.; Melissa (Brian) Gibson and children Anthony, Taylor and Peyton of Delta, Colo.; Dalene (Bill) Stoddard, from Grand Junction, Colo.; Kim (Shawna) McDonald and family, Kimberly, Gary, Chad, Brandi, Lauren and families of Las Vegas, Nev.; brothers, Brent (Joanne) Rowse, Paradise, Calif.; Dale (Carolyn) Rowse, Bellevue, Neb.; Van (Sarah) Rowse, Mesa, Ariz.
Preceded in death by husband, parents, and grandson Jared Johnson.

Funeral service, Sat, June 30, 2007, 1 p.m., Price North Stake Center. Family will be at the church Saturday one hour prior to service and at Mitchell Funeral Home Friday evening from 7-8 p.m. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
Clark McKay Atwood
ELMO -Clark McKay Atwood, age 70 returned to the loving arms of his wife on June 19, 2007. He was born Aug. 12, 1936 to Soren Edward Atwood and Rachel Pearl Cramer in Elmo, Utah. He met his sweetheart Talma Ritta Nate in Salt Lake City. They were sealed together June 4, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple. Talma passed away on Jan. 18, 1990.
Clark was always a hard worker. He worked as a custodian at different schools throughout the state. He worked for the Emery County School District for several years until he retired. He always took pride in his work and was always proud of his kids.
Clark enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trapping. He always had a smile and a laugh that will never be forgotten.
Clark was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held several positions that included: Cub Master, and Executive Secretary. Clark was involved in the community by donating his time as a volunteer. He coached girl’s softball and was a dedicated member of the Cleveland and Elmo Fire Departments.
Clark taught his kids how to work and how to be proud of who they are. As long as could be remembered he had a paper route. He would deliver papers with his kids come rain or shine. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by eight children; Tammy, Penny (Steven), Becky (Al Ra), Clark (Carolyn), Juley (Robert), Bambi, Jim (Lauri), and Jami (Chris). One brother Von Atwood, 24 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Lita Sorensen, brothers-in-law, Ray Nate, Jim Sorensen, Gordon Sorensen and sisters-in-law, Lee Malone and Lita Sorensen.
Clark was preceded in death by his loving wife, brothers and sisters, parents and his grandson Jameson Tyner.
Funeral services were held Sat., June 23, 2007 at noon at the Elmo Ward Chapel. A viewing was held Fri., June 22, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and also one hour prior to the service. Interment was in the Elmo City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
Orrin Keith Snow
Orrin Keith Snow, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, age 72, died Mon. June 4, 2007 due to a sudden heart attack.
He was born in Price, Utah April 26, 1935 to Orrin Levi and Calla Winona Hill Snow of Wellington, Utah. He married Patricia Ann Sears June 20, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Flora Anderson and Maralyn Olsen; brother, Mason Levi Snow. Survived by wife Patricia Ann; sons, Christopher William Snow, Patrick Burton (Lauren) Snow and Matthew Keith (Andrea) Snow; five grandchildren, Spencer Patrick (10), Jason Keith (7), Savannah Mary (2), Sarah Ann (1), and William Matthew (1); sister, Annette Clos; also by several nieces and nephews.
Keith graduated from East High School in 1953. He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in business. Keith went on to a successful career in the trucking transportation industry.
Keith served honorably in the Air National Guard and the Air Force Reserve, retiring with the rank of major. He was a member of the LDS Church with the office of Elder.
Keith enjoyed boating, skiing (snow and water), golf and reading. He had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold.
He was know for his honesty and loyalty as a friend and neighbor. He was a great guy and will be missed by everybody who knew him.
Funeral services were conducted on Mon. June 11, 2007, 12 noon at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street in Salt Lake City. Interment was at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
