Construction begins on U.S. 6 from Wellington to Grassy Trail Creek
The Utah Department of Transportation began construction March 17 on U.S. 6 from Wellington to Grassy Trail Creek. The project will add uphill passing lanes to increase safety on U.S. Highway 6.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in alternating directions through the first week of construction, but will then switch to leave one lane open in each direction. Crews will work Monday through Thursday and plan to complete the project by fall 2008.
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for heavy equipment and construction crews in the area.
