Letter to the Editor: Islamic terrorism and the nuclear threat

By PAUL L. YOUNG St. George

Editor,
After Sept. 11, 2001 in an age of Islamic terrorism and nuclear threat, we should have became fully alerted and alarmed permanently and never diverted from that fact. But we continue on in our folly even today. Lets look at the facts. Then you decide what is wrong.
There are now upwards of 20 million illegal aliens in the U.S. after being released by federal immigration courts.
There are only 20,000 detention beds in the entire U.S. to hold illegal aliens. There are only 2,000 federal agents employed by the Department of Homeland Security to track down the estimated 12-20 million illegal aliens who are living, working, going to school, getting driver’s licenses and, yes committing crimes and plotting terrorism in American even as I write this article.
Our borders on the north and south of the U.S. is full of beaten paths these illegals use to enter the U.S.
Article 4, Section 4, of the Constitution clearly states, “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion.”
We are not the boarding house for the world. It is time that we started filling those positions in Washington D.C. with legislators who believe in the above article and started to act as they believe.
