What I am Thankful For
By Ethan Winter
I am thankful for my family, freedom, and shelter. First I am going to talk about my family.
I am thankful for my family. That includes four brothers and sisters. They provide the clothing that I wear everyday. Without them I would not be here right now.
I am thankful for my freedom because I am able to make decisions to do what I want to. I use these decisions to make good choices every day.
I am thankful for shelter that keeps me warm. I can have just as much fun inside than outside. My house is a gathering place for my family.
I am thankful for these things because they make the rest of my life complete.
What I’m Thankful For
By Cayden Fox
I am writing because I want to take the time to say what I am thankful for.
I am thankful for my family because they all love me a lot. My aunts buy me things. My cousins are nice to me. My parents love me lots. And my grandmas do all those things. If there is anyone else in my family I did not mention I’m sure they love me a lot too.
I’m thankful for my house because it protects me from the weather. It is fun to play in. It is warm. And it is where my family is.
I’m thankful for freedom because it gives me the choice to have education. I have the choice to do what I want to when I grow up. I have the choice to have a house. I have the choice to work or not. I have the freedom to be free.
That is what I am thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving.
What I am Thankful For
By Jordan Shakespaere
I am doing this letter because I wanted to show what I am thankful for.
I am thankful for our country, because we are in a free country and we aren’t in slavery.
I am thankful for houses because if we did not have houses we would be living on the street.
I am thankful for cars, because if we had no cars we wouldn’t get to far places.
I am glad I had the chance to do this so I can share what I am thankful for.
What I’m Thankful For
By Sydney Timothy
The reason I am writing is because I want to tell what I am thankful for.
I am thankful for my family. The reason I am thankful for my family is because I love them and they love me. They comfort me when they are near.
I am also thankful for my freedom. The reason I’m thankful for my freedom is because I have the ability to do what I want and say what I want to say. I also want to be able to go to school and have the things I enjoy.
I’m also thankful for food and shelter. The reason I’m thankful for the food I eat is because I would starve without it. The reason I’m thankful for the shelter over my head is because I can stay warm and I don’t have to live under a tree.
The reason I am thankful for all these things is because they are the reason I am here right now.
Happy Thanksgiving.
What I am Thankful For
By Jessica Richardson
I am thankful for my friends, home, family, games, movies, computers, school, stories, teachers, breakfast, lunch, dinner, puppets, dragons, and everything in the world. I like all that stuff because it is special to me in a very big way.
What I am Thankful For
By John Behling
I am thankful for family, food, and electronics. They are all my favorite things. Those things make my life better.
I am thankful for my family. I have a total of nine people in my family. I like to play with my brothers a lot, and bug my sister. I have the best family.
I am thankful for food. I am small but I like to eat a lot. I drink a lot of water and my favorite food is Chinese noodles. I am very happy that I can eat whatever I want because some people don’t get food.
I am thankful for electronics. I use them everyday. My favorite electronic is most likely video games. Electronics make my live better.
I am glad I had the chance to write this letter so people can know a little more about me and the things I am thankful for.
What I am Thankful For
By Angelina Giroux
I wanted to write this because I am thankful for a lot of things, but I am especially thankful for my family, freedom, and the dinner that is on my table every night.
I am thankful for my family because they take care of me and they help me when I am sick and when I get really sick they sometimes take me to the hospital.
I am thankful for freedom because we are free to have 50 stars on our flag and we have red and white stripes and in 1777 the flag was made and that is why we have the American flag.
I am thankful for the dinner that is on the table every night my mom makes the food every night and the food is so good and sometimes we grow our own food like potatoes, pumpkins, or tomatoes. They are so good and the fruit and veggies are very healthy for you. So you should eat them everyday.
What I’m Thankful For
By Faith Haskie
I am writing this because I want you to know what I am thankful for. I am thankful for friends, family, TV, music, clothes, and school.
I am thankful for my friends and family especially my mom and dad. They protect me and watch out for me. I am thankful for my family. Without my family my life wouldn’t be the same. I am thankful for my friends because they cheer you up when you need to be cheered up.
I am thankful for TV and music. TV and music make me feel thankful for everything because music and TV can tell about anything. If the TV wanted to talk about animals, it can. If music wanted to sing about life, it can.
I’m thankful for clothes. Without clothes we would be clothesless. People would be like “Yuck”.
Finally I am thankful for school. Without school everyone would be stupid and wouldn’t know 1+1.
What I am Thankful For
By Will Higbee
I am thankful for my family. They love me. They care about my support too. I love my family. I am also thankful for my friends. They support me also. They also help me when I need it. Most of all I am thankful for freedom. If no one had freedom, we wouldn’t have anything. There would still be slavery. I am glad we have freedom because I can see the people who like me and love me.
I Am Thankful
By Mason Adams
I am writing this so I can say what I am thankful for. I’m thankful for my family and my freedom.
I love my family. They are so good to me. I have such good parents.
I am thankful for freedom. It is so good to have freedom. It is so good because if we did not it would not be good.
I am so glad that I have a family and freedom. I love having a good life. It is cool.

I am thankful for my grandma and grandpa. I love them.
I’m also thankful for my friends, Haigan and Mason. I would do anything for them.
What I am Thankful For
By Brookelle Cox
I wanted to write about what I am thankful for because I am thankful that we have the things we need.
I am thankful for my family because they take care of me. My family makes me happy. It is worth getting up in the morning to play with them. I love them and they love me.
I am thankful for freedom because if we did not have freedom we could not go to school or anything. If we did not have freedom then we would be slaves for someone. We could not do what we wanted to do.
I am thankful for holidays because I love holidays. If we did not have any holidays we would not have birthdays or Christmas, Valentine’s, Thanksgiving Day, or anything. Holidays are for spending time with your family and friends.
Giving Thanks
By Gavin Paskett
I would like to devote some of my time to tell you what I am thankful for.
I am thankful for freedom. Freedom is a nice thing to have. I love freedom, it is good and helpful. It has been around a long time. That’s what I am thankful for.
Families are good to have because they care for you and love you, like my mom and dad. They love me and I love them.
Food is good for your tummy and healthy for your body. You will grow big and strong (this is on my mother’s side), that’s why I am thankful for it.
What I’m Thankful For
By Courtney Lindsey
I would like to tell you why I am typing this. I am typing this because I have an opportunity to share and express my feelings on what I am thankful for. The three things I am thankful for the most are education, family, and freedom.
The first thing I am thankful for is education. Education is very important to me. I want to rise to a new grade every year and be one of the smartest people. At college, I want to learn to be a teacher and teach children of every age. I am just glad I have education to make me smarter.
The second thing I am thankful for is family. Family are the people who love and care for you. They encourage me to go to school and go to college. Families are the ones that you see on Thanksgiving. They are the ones that make me want to get up in the morning. From the youngest baby to the oldest, my grandma. I love them all.
Last but not least, I am thankful for freedom. Freedom is something I can enjoy. It is something so many died for. So many families lost their loved ones. I am so thankful for freedom. Without freedom we would be slaves. Without school or home. That would be such a horrible life. That’s why I am thankful for freedom.
And so you understand. Be thankful and grateful. You can be thankful for so many things, but can’t explain them all. In conclusion, thank you. Oh, and two more words, Happy Thanksgiving.

I’m writing this because I would like everyone to know what I’m thankful for.
I’m thankful for my family. It’s worth waking up to go to school every morning. I’m always happy to be with them. I’m really happy when we have Family Friday Night.
I’m thankful for my education. Education pays off because it can help you to get a better job.
Food is important because if you don’t have food you would die. Clothes are important for warmth and covering. Shelter is also important because it also gives you warmth and protection.
I’m thankful for writing this for the paper. I hope everyone knows what they’re thankful for. I’m grateful to share this publicly with everyone that reads the newspaper.

I’m writing this because I want everyone to know what I’m thankful for. I’m thankful for my family, shelter, and freedom.
I’m thankful for my family because they take care of me and protect me. I love my family because of what they do to help me. I have two brothers, one sister, and my mom and dad. They help me throughout my life and I’m really happy. So I want to thank my family and what they have done for me.
I’m thankful for my shelter because it doesn’t let me get wet or cold. It doesn’t let me get sun burned or hot. It lets me sleep safely and it also protects me.
I’m thankful for freedom because it lets me go to school. It lets me not be a slave. It lets me do what I want to do and not what someone else wants me to do. I love freedom so much and I am so thankful for freedom too.
In addition to my family, shelter, and freedom, I’m also thankful for school, friends, and my Heavenly Father.
I’m thankful for my school because my teacher Mr. Gilbert and what he teaches us. He is the funniest teacher I ever had. He is the only reason I come to school.
I’m thankful for friends because they tell me things that I need to know and they help me with things I need help on. They’re so nice and I want to thank them very much.
I’m thankful for my Heavenly Father because he helps me when I feel sad or when I feel mad. He tells the Holy Ghost to tell me to choose the right.
I love what I’m thankful for and I thank everyone that reads this.

Why I am thankful for my house is because other children don’t have homes.

I am thankful for my friends. They teach me to stay out of trouble and I teach them to stay out of trouble, and my best friend is Cole.
I am also glad I get to go to school. I have the coolest teacher ever, Mr. Gilbert. He is really playful and he likes sports a lot, even football.
I am thankful for all my toys because if I didn’t have toys I would be bored out of my mind.
My grandma has a computer that I always love to play. It is really fun. I always play club penguin on it. It is super fun cause you can talk to friends. But I don’t get everything I want.
These are the things I am thankful for.
Being Thankful
By Matthew Williams
When I stop to think about people that don’t have what we have, I am very thankful.
First, I am thankful for dirt bikes. I enjoy dirt bikes because I can go fast. I like wearing my goggles and helmet. It’s fun to climb hills.
Second, I am grateful for toys. I love playing with toys, because my brother plays with me. We pretend that our bikes can jump really high. I like toys that are made to be strong.
Last, I am grateful for my family. My dad always fixes my broken things. Every year my mom makes me a nice birthday cake. I am grateful when my brothers take time to play with me.
I should stop to think about what I have more often.

Being thankful can help you in life, but sometimes you turn your back on it, then you realize you probably did something wrong. I would like to tell you what I am thankful for.
First, I am thankful for my family. One Christmas I got to put the presents under the tree. For my birthday my mom lets me choose whatever I want then she chooses what she is going to buy. My dad lets me help him with stuff sometimes like when he needs something to build certain things.
Second, I am thankful for my dogs. They are very energetic and filled with surprises. They also love people, they lick you like crazy. They also are really hungry I mean if you fill the feeder with dog food, it’s like the next day it’s gone.
Finally, I am thankful for myself. So I could see what happens these days. Also because I have these cool friends. I also wouldn’t have the great family that I do.
Remember the turkey doesn’t gobble until your thankful.

Gratitude is being thankful for what you have. Sometimes we have a lot, but we still find ourselves complaining. Let me start by saying what I am thankful for.
First, I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for my family because they are nice and cool. They play with me and I love them.
I am thankful for health. It helps me play sports. It is good for you to be able to run and dribble the ball down the court.
I am thankful for basketball. It is so much fun. It gives you strength. It is cool and good for your health.
I will try being grateful more often and think about what I have more than what I don’t have.

I think being thankful means enjoying what you have and not being greedy all the time.
First, I’m thankful that we can go to school and learn to read, write, add, subtract, and more.
Second, I’m thankful for my family, because they love me and care for me. My mom cooks dinner for me. My dad earns money for my family.
Last, I’m thankful for my friends. They help me out when I need it. They cheer me up when I’m having a bad day. They play with me when I’m lonely.
I think we need to stop being greedy and enjoy what we have.

When you’re grateful it means you’re appreciating what you have. Some people have lots yet they aren’t grateful and want more. I am going to pause for a moment and tell you what I am thankful for.
First, I am thankful for food, because it makes us strong and it’s a good snack and it makes us healthy.
Next, I am thankful for health. It lets me go swimming, it lets me do whatever I want. It will get more important when I get older.
Last, I am grateful for my family, because they support me in sports, take me on vacations, and help me out when I am struggling in school.
I think that we should be grateful for what we have.

Being grateful means appreciating what you have. Do not say that you should have better stuff.
First, I am thankful for freedom, because you can do what you want and you can laugh and enjoy stuff. Then I can play sports.
Second, I am thankful for happiness, because I laugh then I enjoy stuff and then I love to play with toys.
Last, I am thankful for modern day stuff. First we can have cell phones and second of all we have T.V. Then we can have electronics.
All of us may not have what we want but do not say you do not have enough.

We should be thankful for what we have. We should give more stuff to the poor so they can be thankful. We should be thankful for people.

First, I am thankful for my home. It is warm and clean, and it is dry.
Next, my dog. When I am sad then he makes me happy again.
Then finally, my garden. It smells good and it looks good. It is hard to grow a garden.

Next, I am grateful for trailers because they have beds, they have comfy cushions, they keep you warm, and they’re good to sleep in.
Last, I am grateful for health. It helps you then it helps you run and play and then it is good for you.
We need to think of the people who don’t have things that we have.
