WELLINGTON/WENDOVER-Myrtle (Myrt) Lacy Anderson graced this world with her beauty, courage, devotion, determination, and fun-loving spirit of 71 years.
Her life’s journey began on July 24, 1937 with her parents Earl G. and Garnette Seals Lacy. During her journey through life, she was accompanied by adored brothers, Earl and Claude and was later joined by her pesky little sister, Alice. Much later, she was pleased to become acquainted and to love older sister, Frieda.
Myrt’s children and grandchildren were her life. She loved them beyond measure and referred to them as the family jewels. She was always proud of them and their accomplishments. She had and displayed a never failing love and affection for her family and had a fierce loyalty for her friends.
Myrt was reunited with her beloved sons, granddaughter, parents and brother on Jan. 25, 2009.
Forever missing her love and laughter will be her children, Garnette (Angel) and Mike Dalpiaz, Helper, Troy Anderson, Colorado, and Jolene and Craig Edwards, Texas; her grandchildren, Bridget, Michael, Jeana, Troy Lee, Josh, Elaine, Nick and Katy; her great-grandchidlren, Tyler, Rachel, Michael, Tiffany, Jesse, Makaela and Anthony; brother and sisters, Claude Lacy, Blanding, Alice (Sheldon) Barker, Arizona, Frieda Hale, Oregon. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her constant beloved companions, Missie and Blue.
She was preceded in death by cherished sons, Blake and Lane; adored granddaughter, Christa Ridl, parents and brother, Earl Lacy.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, 11 a.m. Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 East Main Street, Price. Family was at Mitchell’s Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior service. Interment, Wellington City Cemetery. A memorial service was held in Wendover, Utah at the LDS Ward on Monday, Feb. 2, 2009 at 11 a.m., where friends were welcomed to join the family Monday one hour prior to services.
