PRICE-Our loving son, brother, grandson, friend, and beloved classmate, Tom Andrew King, age 12, passed away Sept. 26, 2009.
He was born Sept. 21, 1997 in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho to Dale Andrew and Nataliya Reshtanenko King.
Tom was a very energetic child who loved being involved in football, basketball, baseball, riding his bicycle, shooting his B.B. gun, swimming at the wave pool, skateboarding, playing the acoustic guitar and boxing. He was very athletic and was the recipient of five presidential awards for physical fitness. Tom was currently attending Castle Heights Elementary where he enjoyed math and playing the trumpet in the band.
Tom was a member of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church where he served as an altar server. He dearly loved his family, especially caring for his little sister Lisa, and helping his big sister, Niki. He was a very entertaining young man who was loved by all. Tom loved spending time with his family, especially going to work with his dad.
Survived by his loving parents, Dale and Natali King; sisters, Niki and Lisa King, all of Price; grandparents, Dink (Susan) Roop, Sandpoint, Idaho; Youri (Svetlana) Reshtanenko, Kiev, Ukraine; sisters, Julie Nowak, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Kathy Daugherty, Thompson Falls, Mont.; brother, Ryan King, Post Falls, Idaho; also survived by two nephews one niece, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Wanda King; and uncle, Brad King.
Graveside services for Tom will be held Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, 2 p.m. Cliffview Cemetery, Price. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily.
