PRICE-Cal Campbell age 85, passed away in Price, Utah on Oct. 20, 2009. He was born to William and Lillian Searcy Campbell on Jan. 6, 1924 in Cleveland, Okla. Cal married Jeannine Clark on Dec. 1, 1950 in the Manti LDS Temple.
Cal was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served an LDS mission in the New England States. Cal served in the Price Second Ward Bishopric and numerous other callings in the church. Cal was a scout master for hundreds of boys, and enjoyed being a pilot for 70 years. He was a member of the Price Lions Club for many years. His family was his most prized possession. Cal was greatly loved by all that knew him and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his children: Dan (Kristy) Campbell of Pleasant Grove, Bob Campbell of Price, Joni (Jim) Cutler of St. George, Rick (Amy) Campbell of Ogden and Jeff (Tami) Campbell of St. George, 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, brother Dan (Marty) Campbell of Seal Beach Calif., and sister Beth (Clair) Huff of Draper.
He is preceded in death by his wife Jeannine, a son Paul, a daughter Denise, a brother William, sisters: Barbara, June and Joy.
Funeral services were on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Price North Stake Center (449 North100 East). There was a viewing Friday, Oct. 23, 2009 at Fausett Mortuary from 6-8 p.m. and also Saturday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior the services at the church. Interment was in the Cliffview cemetery.
