WELLINGTON-our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Dan Ned Baldwin, age 84, died Nov. 21, 2009 in Price. He was born on Dec. 20, 1924 in Wellington, Utah to Jesse Clark and Adelia Winget Baldwin. Dan married his sweetheart Enid Lillian Erickson on Feb. 15, 1947, marriage later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on Aug. 4, 1965; Enid passed away Sept. 29, 1988. He married Doris Hawkins on Feb. 10, 1990 in the Manti LDS Temple.
Dan served his country during WWII, being honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy. He worked as an airline mechanic for more than 40 years. Dan was an active member of the LDS church and served many callings, one of his favorites being a Temple sealer. He loved to play golf, fish, camp and be outdoors. Dan especially loved spending time with his family.
Survived by, wife Doris Hawkins Baldwin, children: Danna (Dick) Gayler, Kay Hale, Allan (Patty) Baldwin, Joyce (Mike) Paschall, Clark (Angi) Baldwin, Rory (Juanita) Baldwin, Terry (Rhonda) Baldwin, Vicki (Dennis) Hansen, Brent (Kami) Baldwin, Jeri (Steve) Jacobs, Marjorie (Brent) Barker, Margaret (Brad) Timothy, 54 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren
Preceded in death by wife, Enid, parents, five brothers, one sister, grandsons; Wade and Kyle Baldwin, granddaughter; Crystal Smith, son-in-law Roger Hale.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Nov. 24, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Wellington First Ward Chapel (935 E. Main.) Viewing Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and on Tuesday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. prior the service at the church. Interment will be Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009 at 3 p.m. at the Redwood Memorial Estates (6500 South Redwood Rd.) in West Jordan. A memorial services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009 at the Westwood Heights Second Ward Chapel (3976 Dimrall Dr., Kearns, Utah) at 11 a.m. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
