PRICE-Richard Warren Moore, age 53, passed away tragically March 23, 2010 while doing what he loved most, working on his cabin.
He was born Sept. 16, 1956 in Lander, Wyo. to David and Virginia Lee Christman Moore.
He married Tammy Lynn Anthony, Aug. 13, 1977 in Atlantic City, Wyo.
Dick shared a great love for the outdoors and he was happiest while enjoying the comforts of his cabin. He was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed the mountains, backpacking, snowmobiling, and especially fishing with his sons and grandson.
He was the owner and operator of Moore General Construction since 1983.
Dick always had a lesson to share, whether it was at work or on the ballfield. For years he coached his sons in Little League Baseball and freestyle wrestling. Dick always took the time to stress the important things in life, and he helped build a solid foundation for his family and ballplayers.
Dick loved restoring vehicles and he converted and restored a bus into his motor home. He was very talented, and in his younger years he worked as a lumber jack, iron worker, coal miner and some of his fondest memories were those he shared while ranching on his grandpa’s ranch.
Everyone will miss Dick’s witty sense of humor and his gift to gab.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Moore, Price; three sons, Shane William Moore, Price, Cody Scott Moore, Salt Lake City, Dusty Lee Moore, Minneapolis, Minn.; grandson, Kenyon Cody Jones, Layton; dear grandmother, Ruth Schneider, Lander, Wyo; mother, Virginia (Dick) Christman, Casper, Wyo.: father, David (Ruby) Moore, Meeteetse, Wyo; brothers and sisters, David (Nancy) Moore, Ketchum, Idaho, Sherrie Moore, Meeteetse, Wyo., Allen (Karen) Moore, Jim (Connie) Moore, Rena (Eddie) Hook, all of Cody, Wyo.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
