Keagan Aniketos Mendoza “Boots”, 3, our beautiful loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend passed away on June 25, 2010
He was born May 18, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jessica Diane Sanderson Heidel and Stevan Alex Mendoza.
From the moment Keagan was born he fought. Keagan was an inspiration to all those that knew him. He never gave up no matter what the situation; he just found his own way of doing things. Keagan was a beautiful child, who had an amazing gift to make everyone around him smile. He was and still is the most positive and motivating person I have ever met. Keagan continued to inspire and save others even after his passing through organ donation. Keagan loved to listen to music, play basketball with his little sister “Nai Nai”, and doing absolutely anything that involved going outside. Above all other things Keagan was at his happiest when he was around his family and friends.
Keagan will be forever missed by family and many friends, survived by parents, Jessica Heidel and Stevan Mendoza, Price; older sisters, Talia and Maleya Heidel, Alpine; younger sister, Aiyanna Mendoza Price; grandparents, Michael Sanderson and Shelley Curtis, Woodland Hills, Utah, grandmother, Patricia Sanderson, Michigan; grandparents, Benjamin Mendoza and Glenda Montoya, Price; grandmother, Yolanda Trevizo, Wellington; great-grandmothers, Marilyn Sanderson, Topeka, Kan., and Diane Lavis, Manhattan, Kan., uncles, Marcos Mendoza, Helper, Paul Sanderson, Spanish Fork, Benjamin Mendoza III, and Manuel Mendoza Rock Springs, Wyo., Jose, Daniel, and Juan Mediano of Mexico, and Carlos Gutierrez of Price; aunts, Stephanie(Charlie) Whitehead, Spanish Fork, Misty (Tyler) Hackey, Spanish Fork, Elizabeth Arvizo and Erica Mendoza of Wellington, Rosa and Patty Mendoza of Mexico; numerous cousins, very, very, special friends, “Grandpa” Dave Wood, Price; and “Aunt” Kelly Rubio, Price.
