90th birthday: Vernon Christiansen

Vernon B. Christiansen may be the oldest 55 year old we know, but we’re celebrating his 90th birthday.
From Navy buddies to DOD associates, from siblings to great grandchildren, on the back of a horse or on the seat of an ATV, Vernon has spread his joy for living across a wonderful tapestry of kindred spirits. From those whom he has touched, we are grateful.
Known as Chris to some and Vernon to others, his homes have included Bremerton, Wash., Clearfield, Utah, Bountiful, Utah and a second home in his childhood town of Emery, Utah.
Friends and family will be celebrating the memories, wisdom and joy Vernon has woven into the fabric of our hearts over a lifetime on Feb. 5 from 4-7 p.m. at the Stonebridge Golf Clubhouse, 4415 Links Drive, West Valley City, Utah. Please come and join us. No gifts, please.
