FERRON-Ed Clark, age 52, passed away Jan. 23, 2011, in Price, Utah. He was born to Johnnie Rae and Callie Elizabeth Chandler Clark on Aug. 2, 1958 in Sabetha, Kan. He was sealed for time and all eternity to Tracy Wilstead on May 26, 1988, in the Jordan River LDS Temple.
Ed followed in his father’s footsteps by inheriting his father’s green thumb. He loved to spend time outdoors with his family. The last experience he had with his family was going on his dream hunt for a big bull elk this past November. He didn’t kill one, but he was with his boys. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many capacities.
Ed worked in the Emery County education system for more than 25 years. He loved his students, and he was loved in return by them. His greatest love was his family and spending time with them.
Ed is survived by his wife, Tracy; his children: Morgan, Adam, Brian, Jeffery, James, and his rose among the thorns, Claire Mae Clark, all of Ferron; his sisters: Nancy Clark, Peggy Ahlstrom, and Anne (Troy) Johnson, all of Grantsville; his in-laws, Dodd and Connie Wilstead of Castle Dale; and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Callie Clark; and a nephew, Taft Ahlstrom.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the Ferron LDS Stake Center (555 South 400 West). There will be a viewing on Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 6-8 p.m. at the Stake Center and on Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. prior to the services also at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Ferron City Cemetery.
Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Ed at www.fausettmortuary.com.
