PRICE-Our loving mother, grandmother and beloved day care provider, Barbara Ann Crisp, age 72, passed away July 25, 2011 at her home in Price, Utah.
She was born in Needham, England on July 22, 1939 to Frederick and Vera Mary Dunnett Newstead.
Married Colin Leech, later divorced. She later married Keith Anthony Crisp, June 24, 1969 in England; he preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 1981.
“Bobby” was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved being surrounded by her family and for the past 31 years she opened the doors of her home and loved and cared for many children in the comforts of “Bobby’s Place”. Her children and four grandchildren were the light of her life and she was deeply proud of their accomplishments.
She enjoyed watching western movies and murder mysteries. “Bobby” overcame many obstacles in her life and on May 25 of this year she received her US citizenship.
Survived by her daughter and son, Andrea (Greg) Ghirardelli, Sean Crisp, both of Price; grandchildren, Richard Ghirardelli, Price, Ember Ghirardelli, Salt Lake City, Kenyon Crisp, and Brodey Crisp, both of Price.
Graveside service, Saturday, July 30, 2011, 11 a.m., Cliffview Cemetery in Price. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price, where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of “Bobby” at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
