HELPER-Paul Fredricksen, age 50, went on his final walk Sept. 11, 2011. He was born Aug. 7, 1961 in Price, Utah to Pat and Peggy Joan Weber Fredricksen.
Paul married Corinna Cave, later divorced. On May 16, 1996, he married Kristy Stella in Price.
Paul was a lifelong resident of Carbon County and graduate of Carbon High School Class of 1979. After graduation he attended the College of Eastern Utah where he received his welding certificates. Paul was a hard worker who was a valued employee of Pacific Central Steel and Intermountain Electronics for years. He loved working with his hands and was respected by all in his trade.
He was an avid outdoorsman who spent countless hours searching for shed horns. He shared a passion for cooking and sharing time with his family and friends. Paul loved spending the holidays with his family and he especially enjoyed snatching up everyone’s fruitcake. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by his wife, Kristy Fredricksen, Helper; son, Patrick Fredricksen, Price; daughter and his beloved “stink bug”, Ashley Fredricksen, Helper; parents, Pat and Peggy Fredricksen, Price; sister, Penny Fredricksen, Moab; grandmother, June Fredricksen, Price; grandchildren, Kayden and Kaibri Fredricksen; beloved father-in-law, George Stella, Wellington; and his faithful companion, Rudy Paul.
Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete Fredricksen, Albert and Elvera Weber; and uncles, Randy and Jerry Weber.
Graveside service, Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, 11 a.m., Price City Cemetery. Family received friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Friday morning from 10-10:45 a.m. In remembrance of Paul, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Humane Society.
