HELPER-Beverly Eilander (Nicolaides) Marshall, 83, passed away Sept. 22, 2011 at her home surrounded by family. Beverly was born June 25, 1928 in Ogden, Utah to Lizzy and Wessel Eilander. She married John W. Marshall II on Aug. 10, 1946. They were happily married for 53 ½ years before John passed away. Beverly married Paul Nicolaides on April 19, 2003, and they were together for 11 months before his passing.
Beverly had a smile and enthusiasm that was contagious. She was known as the favorite aunt, the grandma to every child she met, and would greet everyone with a hug. Beverly was known as a work-aholic. She was either cleaning her house or doing yard work. It was well known that she would clean everything before giving it away or donating it. She was known to clean something before throwing it in the garbage. Beverly loved to travel, camp, fish, hunt and anything that would bring a group of people together. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family and welcomed everyone into her home. She was able to look into the heart of everyone and found good in all.
She leaves behind two sons and three daughters: John (Gloria) Marshall, Wasilla, Alaska; Sharon (Stewart) Jones, Helper, Utah; Larry (Kris) Marshall, Orem, Utah; Wendy (Pete) Cowley, Price, Utah; and Melanie (Todd) Jones, Minneapolis, Minn. Beverly was also survived by her brother Red Eilander, sister Dutch Carlson, sister-in-law Lea Jones, 14 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands John Marshall, Paul Nicolaides, grandson Christopher Cowley, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, 11 a.m. at the Gordon Creek LDS Ward Chapel (175 N. 1280 West, Price). There was a viewing Monday, Sept. 26, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South, Price), and on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Price City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Beverly at www.fausettmortuary.com.
