Henry Z. Wagner passed away on Sept. 20, 2011 in St. George, Utah. He is survived by his wife Margaret Reid Wagner (Orangeville), their three sons and wives: Henry Reid and Michele; Charles Steven and Sally; Darryl Brad and Julie. There are also nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Henry was born in Lake Providence, La., on May 21, 1924. He was preceded in death by his parents Minnie Lou Simmons and William Sadd Wagner, and four brothers and one sister.
He served in the US Navy during World War II and worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 42 years in Utah and California.
Over the years, he enjoyed camping, waterskiing and dancing. One of his favorite camping areas was Bass Lake in California. He was awarded the Silver Beaver for his many years of service in the Boy Scouts.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Orangeville City Cemetery. Services were in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
