PRICE – Lola LeRee Stuart, age 81, passed away on Oct. 15, 2011. She was born June 30, 1930 to Rulon Albert Robison and Alta Maria Angell in Scipio, Utah. She married Victor E. Stuart on Sept. 19, 1946 in Scipio, Utah. Victor passed away on Feb. 26, 2000. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Monticello LDS Temple.
Lola was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed being a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and was captain for 12 years. She took pleasure in the outdoors and especially enjoyed her day trips with LeRae and “Sadie” where she observed animals in their environment. She liked to garden and loved cooking the “fruits” of her labor for her family and friends. Her favorite time was spent with her family, teasing them with her playful nature.
Lola is survived by her children: Otto Eugene (Michele) Stuart of Salt Lake City, LeRae Stuart of Price, LeRee (Paul F.) Burgess of Blanding, Victor Lawrence (Lisa) Stuart of Helper, and Michael D. (Sharon) Stuart of Miller Creek; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren ages 21 years to 7 days old; brother, Jerald (Loretta) Robison of Salt Lake City; and sister-in-law, Donna Robison of Scipio, and Lola’s Yorkie “Sadie”.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor; brother, Keith Robison; and sister, Elizabeth Hopkins.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Price North Stake Center (449 North 100 East – Price, Utah.) A viewing will be held Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South – Price, Utah) and on Wednesday, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Lola at www.fausettmortuary.com.
