CASTLE DALE – Jesse Del Peacock, age 23, passed away Dec. 4, 2011 in Salt Lake City. Jesse was born March 17, 1988 in Price, Utah to Delroy and Janet Hardee Peacock. He married Stephanie Morash at Thanksgiving Point on Aug. 29, 2009. They later divorced but remained friends.
Jesse was born and raised in Castle Dale, Utah. He graduated from Emery High School class of 2006, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was a coal miner by trade. Jesse was always a joy to be with. He was known for his quick wit and you never wanted to be on the other end. He enjoyed dressing up in a tuxedo or suit and a top hat.
Jesse’s interests included skate and snowboarding, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. He loved his dogs, Callie and Charlie, and he also loved to travel with his family, especially going on cruises. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Delroy and Janet Peacock; sister, Melanie (Josh) Davis; brother, Casey Peacock; nephews: Derek (Neff), Kyle, Jordan, and Kayden Davis, and Brendon Peacock; niece, Shayla Peacock; ex-wife, Stephanie; grandparents, LaVoy and Marilyn Hardee; uncles and aunts: Karen Peacock, Beulah Jensen, Don Jewkes, Allen and Colleen Childs, Joe and Sheila Fielder, Irene Shiner, Tom and Lorie Hardee, Rick and Kim Hardee, Brent and Cathy Hardee, and Shellee Woodall; many cousins and many best friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Hilma Peacock; uncles, Paul Peacock and James Lee Jensen; aunt, Nan Jewkes; and cousin, Skyler Hardee.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Castle Dale LDS Stake Center (35 West Main Street). There will be a viewing Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (720 N. Center St.-Castle Dale) and on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Orangeville City Cemetery.
