HUNTINGTON-LeAnna Cook was called home to her Heavenly Father on Dec. 3, 2011 in Murray, Utah after a lengthy illness.
LeAnna was the oldest of four siblings born to Willas Blair and Terri Rae Birch Cook on Jan. 18, 1971 in Price.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. LeAnna worked many jobs throughout her life and her favorite was working as a nurses aide at the care centers.
LeAnna had a great love for horses, collecting belt buckles and all sorts of western music.
She loved camping, fishing, BBQs, and spending time with her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was the life of the party and everyone enjoyed having fun with her.
She will be dearly missed.
Survived by her parents, Terri and Blair Cook, Huntington; two sisters and one brother, Dana (Chris) Guymon, Huntington; LaDonna Evans, Fruita, Colo.; Christopher Blair (Jan) Cook, Price; grandmother, Erma “Dixie” Birch, Huntington; three nieces, Gentry Guymon, MacKenzie, Thorton and Morgan West; six nephews, Hal, Justin and TyRell Guymon, Hesston Cook, Trey Evans and Jordan West; many aunts and uncles, Judy Cook, Salt Lake City, Reeve (Dawna) Cook, Providence, Debra (Al) Wilcken, Riverton, Gloria Neal, Illinois, Chall (Annette) Cook, Lana (Bud) Holmes, Evon (Joel) White, Linda (Marc) Stevens, Veronica (David) Ames, Jerry (Mindy) Birch, aunt and good friend, Karryn Birch all of Huntington.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill Birch, Phineas and Deane Cook; three uncles and one aunt, Jerrold Cook, Gary and Kathy Birch and Alan Birch.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful family, friends, EMTs, nurses, doctors, hospitals, social workers and above all life flight. What a fantastic job they did to try and save her life. Thank you for all the love and kindness you all showed.
Funeral service, Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, 10 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, Price. Family will be at Mitchell’s Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Huntington City Cemetery, Huntington.
