HUNTINGTON-Margaret Elaine Potter Wilson, died peacefully Nov. 29, 2011 at Willow Wood Care Center with family at her side. She was born Feb. 29, 1940 in Huntington, Utah to Ethel May Shaw and Robert Glen Anderson. She married her high school sweetheart Lyle Joe Potter – died Sept. 1, 1970. Later married Dale LeGrand Wilson – died Oct. 27, 1976.
Elaine was involved in the Emery County Chamber of Commerce for several years. She served as the Emery County Treasurer for two terms. She volunteered for the Emery County Ambulance as an EMT for several years. Elaine was known by many as, Grandma Elaine, because of her in home day care. After she retired she worked as a Certified Home Health Nursing Assistant. She loved helping anyone in need.
Elaine is survived by her sister, Marie Augustine; brothers, Robert (Jeanne); Wayne (Kaye) and Lynn Anderson, children: Layne (Kathy); MiKay; Shayne; Bernadette; Andy and Ben; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Words cannot express our gratitude for the love and care given to our Mother by the care partners at Willow Wood Care Center and Bristol Hospice.
Keeping with Elaine’s wishes there will be a private family service held. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Elaine at www.fausettmortuary.com.
