Raymond Leonard Huntington left this earth to be with his sweetheart on March 4, 2012. Born Valentine’s Day 1927 to Lloyd S and Hannah Annette Cox Huntington in Orangeville, Utah, Ray was the first of four siblings. He joined the Navy and served his country during WWII aboard the USS Shields in the South Pacific. He married Norma Berth Beach on March 19, 1949 in Molen, Utah; they were married 61 years.
Ray had a lifelong love for hard work. He worked in Price as a mechanic, built and ran Ray’s Service Station in Castle Dale for 15 years, worked at Deer Creek Mine for 20 years. After retirement he moved his Registered Hereford cattle operation to South Dakota for 10 years. Returning to Utah in 2003, Ray settled in the foothills outside Mt. Pleasant and worked hard at retirement.
Ray was a friend to all and a mentor to many. He appreciated all things out of doors, being an avid hunter and fisherman for many years. Upper Joe’s Valley was one of his favorite spots.

Dunsmore (Dennis) of Draper; brothers John Huntington (Sammy), Earl Huntington (Phyllis); sister Shirley Cataldo (Robert); grandchildren Amanda Huntington, Jordan Huntington, Chad Dunsmore, Tyson Huntington, Kade Huntington, and Jessica Huntington.
