Green River High has spent this past school year reminding students not to drive stupid. As a school they did activities or sent out reminders to not drive stupid and every m
th a reminder activity was held.
During the year, each behavior had to be addressed at least once. Drowsy, distracted, aggressive, impaired, and unbuckled driving was addressed. The goal was to make it a zero fatalities year. Teacher Lea Church said, “We won the competition for 1A high schools and we received a traveling trophy and $1,000 and $250 goes to the high school’s drivers ed program. We would like to continue to spread the word. Don’t drive stupid.”
