PRICE/OGDEN-“Big John Daskalos” passed away peacefully July 19, 2012. He was born Aug. 24, 1928 to John K. Daskalos and Mary Vorinakis in Price, Utah where he grew up. On Sept. 1, 1955, he married Thelma Kalaitzaki in Athens, Greece. Funeral service, Monday, July 23, 2012, 11 a.m. Interment, Price City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, Box 688, Price, Utah 84501.
