Attention all animal lovers: Let’s make our Community a Better Place for Pets

By By

Calling all Animal Lovers to start an organization for proactive action to improve the lives of pets and their People. We are interested in influencing codes and laws in the cities and counties; developing places where people and their dogs can meet and dogs can exercise off leash, sponsor agility competitions, obedience classes, and other events to promote healthy happy pets, and foster social interaction with pet lovers.
We will start off with a mile walk and dog agility course. It’s good exercise for you and your pet, and you will get a free T-Shirt and a chance to win other prizes including Gentle Leader head collar and pet food!
Oct. 13, 8 a.m., mile walk will start at the grassy area north of the Rec. Center in Castle Dale. There we will have a short obedience class on how to get your dog to walk well on a leash, and on proper dog-walking etiquette. After the one mile walk, an agility course will be available for your furry friend to play on. Dogs must be on leash at all times during the walk. Call 381-2539 to sign up.bit, “Legacies of Home: Paintings by KaeLynn Winn,” will be on display from Oct. 8 – Nov. 8 at Gallery East on USU Eastern’s Price campus.
