Lee N. “Londy” Diamanti

By By

HELPER-Lee quietly slipped away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 surrounded by family after suffering from pneumonia. Lee was born on Sept. 30, 1917 to Nick and Maria Florias Diamanti in Helper, Utah. He was the second of their five children. In order to distinguish him from a cousin with the same name, he was given the nickname “Londy” after a boxer that he resembled.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents at the Heirloom Inn for their kindness and a special great big thanks to his “buddies” at the Savoy with whom he played cards.
Funeral services were held at Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 East Main Street, Price, Utah, Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. Family was at Mitchell’s Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery, Helper, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of “Londy” at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
