PRICE: Shaniel Oliver Donaldson, age 32, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at her home. Shaniel was born March 4, 1980 in Price, Utah to Greg Oliver and Carol Ann Bates. She married David Scott Donaldson on May 8, 1999 in Price, Utah.
Shaniel graduated from Carbon High School in 1998 and later attended CEU where she received her Associates degree and became an RN in 2006. Shaniel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked as a Home Health and Hospice Nurse for seven years for Community Nursing Services. She was loved by her co-workers, patients, and families that she had the privilege of working with. Shaniel had a love for gardening and being in the outdoors, yet her greatest love was her family. She truly loved being a mother and her children were her greatest joy, spending time with them was priceless. She will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who truly had compassion for others.
Shaniel is survived by her children: Morgann, Carson, Tianna and Tera Donaldson; parents: Greg (Tina) Oliver of Cleveland, Utah and Carol (David) Daniels of Willard, Utah; grandmother, Connie Oliver of Spring Glen, Utah, siblings: Kelsey (Chad) Bywater of Corinne, Utah, Amie (Clint) Sorensen of Huntington, Utah, Steven (Misty) Oliver of Elmo, Utah, Audrey (Michael) Mecham of Tremonton, Utah, Michelle (Dylan) Priano of Helper, Utah, Brandon Oliver of Price; step-brothers and sister: Korinne (Travis) Smith of Puyallup, Wash; Chealsea (Kelly) Water of Nibley, Utah and Paul Daniels of Brigham City, Utah; in-laws, David and Debbie Donaldson of Price; Grandfather-in-law, Delbert Petersen of Price; sisters and brothers -in-law: Tennille (Kelly) Larsen of Spanish Fork, Utah Denice (Scotty) Madsen of Price, Utah, Rachelle (Kasey) Miller of Price, Utah; Robby (Monica) Donaldson of Price, Utah and Kristen (Stuart) Lake of Eagle Mountain, Utah and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James W. and Ellen M. Bates and LeRoy Oliver.
Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Price LDS North Stake Center, 449 North 100 East, Price. A viewing will be held on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Price LDS North Stake Center and on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Friends and families can sign the guestbook and share memories of Shaniel at www.fausettmortuary.com. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made at any Zions Bank location. Proceeds will go to Shaniel’s four children.
