CARBONVILLE/CASTLE DALE-Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and dear neighbor, Beverly Kay Benedict Lofgreen, age 65, joined her Heavenly Father and beloved husband on Feb. 18, 2013. She was born Sept. 22, 1947 in Phoenix, Ariz. to Charles and June Rhodes Benedict.
On Dec. 23, 1965, she married her sweetheart, Mark Edward Lofgreen in San Manuel, Ariz. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa Arizona Temple on May 26, 1967.
Beverly was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully in many callings. After the passing of her husband on March 1, 2012, she found great comfort in her studies at the Genealogy Library in Price. As a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Beverly made sure that her home was a welcoming place for all to enjoy.
In her earlier years, the family raised their children in Castle Dale where she taught school at the Yellow Brick Road Pre-School for 11 years. Beverly loved working with her hands and as her handiwork flourished, she decided to open a porcelain doll business. Beverly enjoyed sharing her talents with others and her trinkets will be cherished forever.
