She was born in Castle Dale, Utah, on Nov. 15, 1923, to Ervin Andrew Anderson and Naomi Asay Anderson Jensen. She married Kenneth S. Cox on July 21, 1942, in the Manti LDS Temple.
She was an active member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she held many positions including: Primary President, Stake positions, and Relief Society positions. She and her sweetheart also served as temple workers in the Manti LDS Temple. She was also survived by her two sisters Janone Richards and Shanna Lea Bates and brother, Jack Asay. Family was her life. We could have all lived with her and she would have been fine. She was a great example to us all. Her Christ-like unconditional love was given to all with no exceptions. She was the epitome of Christ’s example when he admonished us to “love one another, as I have loved you.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one granddaughter, Traci Cox.
Funeral Services were held on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Castle Dale Stake Center (35 East Main, Castle Dale, Utah.) A viewing was held Friday, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Castle Dale City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
