Emery/Carbon World Down Syndrome Celebration
If your loved one has Down Syndrome and you would like to come and share in celebrating. Bring the family and join us at the Emery County Recreation Center. It will be a night of fun, March 21 at 5:30 p.m.
Dinner is a potluck to share. Hamburgers and hotdogs provide. Free T-shirt for those with Down Syndrome. T-shirts available for family and friends for $10. There will be a talent show for anyone wanting to share a talent. There will be a photo booth and a balloon release at sunset.

Utah Stake Conference
This is an invitation to Castle Dale and Orangeville residents to attend the Castle Dale, Utah Stake Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 22-23.
Meeting times are 7 p.m. on March 22 and 10 a.m. on March 23. The conference will be held at the Castle Dale Stake Center on the corner of Main Street and Center Street in Castle Dale. Visiting authorities will be Elders Bruce Carlson and Terry Wade. This will be a great opportunity to thank the outgoing stake presidency and welcome the new one.

BYU Church History Symposium
March 6 and 7 beginning at 9 a.m. There will be several keynote speakers throughout both days.

Junior Prom
The junior prom promenade will be held at the Spartan Center on March 7 at 7 p.m. It is free to the public, but a $1 donation is encouraged. The theme is the Great Gatsby.
Non-motorized Trails Map
The County Trails Committee is developing a map showing non-motorized trails. A draft of the map showing hiking, biking, and horseback trails will be a available for review and comment in Castle Dale, on the second floor of the Court House, on March 12th between 7:00 and 8:30 pm. If you have a favorite trail or two please come to make sure they are included on the map. Feel free to call Rod Player from the Trails Committee at 749-1218 if you have questions.
BASEBALL UMPIRES WANTED
The Recreation Center is looking for anyone that is in 7th grade or older and has experience with baseball. If you are interested in umpiring baseball games, please contact the Recreation Center at 435-381-2108
Fundraiser Golf Tournament
Millsite Golf Course will hold a three person scramble fundraiser for the family of Clint Conover. The tournament will be on March 15 at 10 a.m. The cost is $250 per team. All proceeds will benefit Megan Conover and her children. In addition to the fundraiser an account has been set up at Zions Bank for Megan Conover.
