CLEVELAND- Agnes Irene Oviatt Allred, age 92, met her creator on Saturday evening, March 22, 2014.
She was born Feb. 2, 1922 in Elmo, Utah to Lillian Irene Erickson and Dee Oviatt. Married Vonal Knight Allred, later divorced.
Agnes was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she received her endowments on May 8, 1990 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a lifelong resident of Emery County where she delighted the hearts of many. Agnes loved beading, crocheting and working on crossword puzzles. She will be dearly missed by her family and many longtime friends.
Agnes is survived by her children, Franklin D. (Nancy) Allred, Miller Creek, Steven K. (Ginger) Allred, Cleveland, sisters, Sally Russ and Marva Jones; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
Preceded in death by her parents, daughters, VonaLu and MonaLee; son, Kerry V. Allred; sisters, Grace Rodgers, Vea Sabey, Elva Jensen, Lois Jensen; brothers, LuDean, Volmer and Arden Oviatt.
Funeral service, Thursday, March 27, 2014, 11 a.m., Cleveland LDS Ward Chapel (355 West 100 North). Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price Wednesday evening from 6-7 p.m. and at the church in Cleveland Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, Cleveland City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Agnes at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
