EAST CARBON – Our family has lost our sweet mom, loving grandma, sister and aunt Kathleen (Katie) who passed away peacefully on April 25, 2014 at Castleview Hospital in Price. She was born October 27, 1929 in Columbia, Utah to Leland A. and Melva Wareham Nelson.
Funeral Mass Tuesday, April 29, 2014, 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, East Carbon. A Vigil service was held on Monday evening at 7 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main) Price. Family was at Mitchell’s from 5-7 p.m. on Monday and one hour prior to Mass at the church in East Carbon. Committal service, Cliffview Cemetery Price. Arrangements are entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Kathleen online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Judes or the Utah Kidney Foundation.
