At approximately 1:10 p.m. a two vehicle accident happened Tuesday on SR-10 just north of Clawson. The two vehicles hit almost head-on. One vehicle was a truck from the Emery County School District. The other vehicle started on fire after the impact. Deputies with fire extinguishers put out the fire which reignited and then they put it out again.
There was one occupant in the truck and the other vehicle had a driver and a passenger. All were transported to Castleview Hospital. The Utah Highway Patrol troopers are investigating why the accident happened. The two vehicles came to rest approximately 100 yards apart.
